This site is one of the most modern UHT plant-based and hybrid dairy beverage production facilities in the Nordics, handling more than 100.000 tons a year for our partners in industry, foodservice, retail and private label. From oat drinks to cooking creams and cuisines, we make beverage and nutrition that performs in private homes, professional kitchens and industrial food production. Flexible formats, bold flavors, lasting shelf life and certified quality delivered in scale with speed.
From margarine wars to plant-based pioneers
Grønvang started as a margarine factory during Denmark’s great margarine wars – complete with herringbone floors, copper details, and Italian marble. It looked more like a manor than a factory, really. Dragsbæk acquired the facility in 2010, and after gaining market leadership within plant based beverages with NATURLI’, it was only natural for us to transform the old mansion into a top modern plant drink production. Today, Dragsbæk Vejen is home to cutting-edge UHT Tetra Pak® technology, automated pallet systems, and a team of 80 passionate people, making beverage and nutrition fast.
